Ostrya Equipment — Official Logo Design

Ostrya is a Montréal-based brand of mountaineering clothing and equipment. Their mission is to create technical garments reflecting a progressive aesthetic. The brand wishes to promote the distinctive playfulness associated with the practice of outdoor sports while representing its Quebec roots on the international scene. Back in 2019, I had the pleasure of working with Ostrya Equipment co-founders FX and Simon-David with the task of creating an iconic and emblematic logomark for their clothing equipment brand. At the time they were just starting, and since then, they have grown and expanded ten-fold. They’ve opened a store in Montreal, expanded their team, and also have a division in South-Korea and France. Their high quality clothes, equipment and accessories are now sold through a variety of distributors and stores.
